SuperFabric® in the new McLaren

McLaren Automotive, the British creator of luxury, high-performance sports cars and supercars is releasing a new car.

As the first McLaren to major on touring refinement, PBN Associates is proud that it’s partner SuperFabric® are featured as an interior option for the new McLaren GT. The innovative woven fabric that is infused with a layer of tiny armoured guard plates, providing increased resistance to stains, cuts, nicks and abrasions, as well as being breathable, easy to clean and quick to dry is an option in the spacious luggage bay. The level of practicality and luggage capacity of the new GT are greatly enhanced. In addition to 150 litres of storage space at the front, a rear luggage bay offering up to 420 litres of storage - this is more spacious than some compact and midsize sedans. The space is accessed via glazed tailgate with optional power opening and closing mechanism. Superlight, yet supremely comfortable, the new McLaren GT is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, providing supercar performance. In its lightest specification, the new GT weighs only 1,530 kilograms, generates breath-taking acceleration of only 3.2 seconds from 0-100 km/h and a top speed of 326km/h.

PBN Associates at Lineapelle October 2019

PBN recently returned from the Lineapelle International Fair in Milan, Italy and once again did a unbelievable job of hosting the event. With over 25,000 visitors and over 1200 exhibitors Lineapelle is the high-end show featuring everything from Automotive interiors, leather, accessories, components, synthetics, and textiles for making shoes, bags, leather goods, leather wear and upholstery. This season event very much an environmental agenda to it and the way the industry is trying to change is incredibly inspiring, through recycled and sustainable materials and more environmentally friendly methods of production.
